European Hemophilia Consortium / EHC
The European Haemophilia Consortium (EHC) is a non-profit, non-government organisation that works to improve the quality of life for people with congenital bleeding disorders such as haemophilia, von Willebrand Disease (VWD) and other rare bleeding disorders in Europe. The EHC has 44 National Member Organisations (NMOs) from all 28 EU Member States, including all acceding countries as well as most of the Council of Europe. It represents approximately 90,000 patients with congenital bleeding disorders such as haemophilia A and B, VWD and other rare bleeding disorders. It is estimated that 90,000 people in Europe are affected by these conditions.
