The panel discussion will aim to expose alternative and creative approaches, outside of formal education, to media and information literacy, but also to exchange expertise between European and Western Balkans practices. In the Western Balkans, in a context where media and information literacy is not fully incorporated into formal education, alternative actors, including social media activists, creative industry, and professionals, can significantly contribute through youth-friendly and engaging formats.
