News & Booze #14 Social influencers

How does a not-for-profit organisation identify which social influencers to target and work out how to bring them on board?

About this Event

Artists, actors, bloggers, instagrammers. Social influencers come from a range of backgrounds.

They can be extremely influential in a campaign aimed at the public boosting awareness of an issue or bringing a new audience to a cause or product.

But how does a not-for-profit organisation identify which social influencers to target and work out how to bring them on board?

This is where Jacques Foul and Louise Day, from FleishmanHillard, come in. They are our guest speakers at the January meet-up and are set to pass on their expert tips and share concrete examples of when social influencers have made a huge difference to a project or campaign.

During their talk, Jacques and Louise will cover:

  • The definition of a social influencer.
  • What success looks like using past examples from the fields of energy and migration.
  • How to measure impact on social media.

Louise Day and Jacques Foul are part of FleishmanHillards Digital, Social and Creative team and manage a number of creative projects ranging from social influencer and social media campaigns, stunts and impactful events, search analysis projects and many more.

We always encourage audience participation so come armed with your own examples and questions for a lively and engaging debate! Networking opportunities with drinks & nibbles follow the speaker session. Note: BYOB!

News and Booze is a free meet up for NGO communicators and non-profits co-hosted by Conscience Consulting, Clear Europe and Julia Ravenscroft, Communications Manager at Eurodad. Every month, a new topic.
